The Kriniko Difference

Refreshed Eyes, Never Overdone

The best under-eye results look like a great night's sleep, not a treatment. Rather than filling the area, Dr Kris uses Lumi Eyes to improve the quality of the skin itself, so you look brighter, rested and entirely like yourself.

Regeneration, not volume

Lumi Eyes is a tissue stimulator rather than a filler, which makes it an ideal option for patients who want to improve thin, tired under-eye skin without adding bulk.

A structured treatment course

Results build over a course of three sessions spaced two to four weeks apart, giving your skin time to repair and renew between each appointment.

Complete eye strategy

Lumi Eyes improves skin quality. For crow's feet or wider skin concerns, Dr Kris can combine it with anti-wrinkle injections or other regenerative treatments such as polynucleotides.

Dark Circle Treatment Cambridge

Dark circles often appear when the skin under the eyes becomes thin enough for the blood vessels and muscle beneath to show through. Lack of sleep, stress, ageing and genetics can all make them more obvious, leaving you looking tired even when you feel well.

Lumi Eyes regenerates and thickens the under-eye skin while deeply hydrating it, helping to reduce the look of shadowing and bring back brightness. Many patients notice improved hydration and a fresher look after their very first session.

Under-Eye Fine Lines & Crepey Skin

The skin around the eyes has fewer oil glands and less support than elsewhere on the face, so it is often the first place to show fine lines, dryness and a crinkled, crepey texture.

By stimulating collagen production and improving hydration, Lumi Eyes helps smooth the skin's surface and soften fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes. Improvement builds progressively after each session, with the best results seen four to six weeks after completing your course.

Loss of Elasticity & Mild Puffiness

As collagen and elastin naturally decline with age, the under-eye skin can lose its firmness and bounce, making mild puffiness and a slightly heavy, tired appearance more noticeable.

Lumi Eyes supports the skin's own repair processes to improve elasticity and resilience, helping the area look firmer, smoother and less puffy. Dr Kris will assess the cause of any puffiness at consultation to make sure Lumi Eyes is the right option for you.

How does Lumi Eyes work?
Lumi Eyes is an innovative tissue stimulator designed specifically for the delicate under-eye area. It is based on high-quality polynucleotides, purified fragments of DNA that act as building blocks for skin repair. When placed beneath the thin skin around the eyes, polynucleotides help to deeply hydrate the tissue, support the activity of fibroblasts (the cells that produce collagen and elastin) and encourage the skin to regenerate and repair itself. Over a course of treatment, this can improve skin thickness, firmness and elasticity, helping to reduce dark circles, fine lines, puffiness and signs of fatigue. Because Lumi Eyes works by improving skin quality rather than adding volume, results are gradual and natural-looking. Suitability is always confirmed at your medical consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your Lumi Eyes Questions, Answered

What is Lumi Eyes?
Lumi Eyes is an innovative tissue stimulator designed specifically for the delicate under-eye area. Using high-quality polynucleotides, it deeply hydrates, regenerates and repairs the skin while stimulating collagen production, helping to reduce dark circles, fine lines, puffiness and signs of fatigue for a brighter, smoother and more refreshed appearance.
How many Lumi Eyes sessions will I need?
A course of three sessions is recommended, spaced two to four weeks apart. This gives your skin time to repair and regenerate between treatments, with results building progressively after each session. Dr Kris will confirm the right plan for you at your consultation.
When will I see results from Lumi Eyes?
Lumi Eyes typically takes effect within 1 to 2 weeks. Many patients notice improved hydration and brightness after the first treatment, with progressive improvement after each session. The best results are seen 4 to 6 weeks after completing the treatment course.
How long do Lumi Eyes results last?
Results last approximately 6 to 12 months. Because ageing continues naturally, maintenance treatments can be booked as needed to keep the under-eye area looking bright and refreshed.
Does Lumi Eyes treatment hurt?
Most patients find treatment very comfortable. Numbing cream is applied beforehand to minimise discomfort, and treatment is carried out with a fine needle or cannula. You may feel a slight pinch or some pressure during the appointment.
Is there any downtime after Lumi Eyes?
Downtime is minimal. Small raised bumps, redness or mild swelling at the injection points are common and usually settle within 24 to 48 hours, and occasional bruising can take a few days longer to fade. Most people return to normal activities straight away, avoiding make-up, exercise, alcohol and heat for 24 hours.
What's the difference between Lumi Eyes and tear trough filler?
Tear trough filler uses hyaluronic acid to add volume to a hollow under-eye area. Lumi Eyes works differently: it is a polynucleotide tissue stimulator that improves the quality of the skin itself, hydrating, regenerating and stimulating collagen without adding volume. It is well suited to dark circles, fine lines and thin, crepey skin. Dr Kris will advise which approach, or combination, suits you best.
Who is not suitable for Lumi Eyes?
Lumi Eyes is only offered to adults aged 18 and over. Treatment isn't suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, where there is active infection or inflammation around the eyes, or for anyone with an allergy to fish or to any of the product's ingredients, as polynucleotides are derived from purified fish DNA. Some medical conditions and medications may also affect suitability, so your full medical history is reviewed before any treatment is offered.
